Atbash: the mirrored alphabet

A becomes Z, B becomes Y

Teaching this? Open projector mode

Atbash writes the alphabet backwards under itself: A↔Z, B↔Y, C↔X, and so on. It comes from the Hebrew alphabet, and scholars have found it in the Book of Jeremiah.

Like ROT13 it has no key, and it undoes itself: mirror a mirror and you are back where you started.
